Trustees
Our Board of Trustees provide the key elements of local governance for our academies.
The Trustees are responsible for:
- Ensuring the academies operate within the mission and ethos of the Academy Trust and contributes to the Academy Trust’s key strategic priorities.
- Monitoring the quality of teaching and learning, attendance, behaviour and safety, within the academies and progress against the academy improvement plan.
- Holding senior leaders to account for improvement of standards in the academies.
- Engaging with wider academy activities as a means of monitoring overall quality.
- Ensuring compliance with the policies for Safeguarding and that the Academies maintain a ‘culture of vigilance’ in respect of all safeguarding matters.
