Trust Board

As the first Principal for St George’s Academy, Nikki was interviewed and successfully appointed to be the first Executive Head Teacher for the Titan Education Trust in June 2019. Leading the local academy to a Good Ofsted judgement  twice, Nikki is committed to working with her team on both sites to drive improvements and provide a first class educational experience for all students, irrespective of their reasons for being placed there. Working closely with the Trustees and the local Governors, Nikki is focused on moving Titan Aston Academy and Titan St George’s Academy to Outstanding gradings under the new Ofsted framework.

Education is at the heart of everything that Nicky does on a day-to-day basis. Having recently stepped down from headship, Nicky works part time for the King Edward VI Academy Trust Birmingham as Consultant Headteacher focusing on school improvement alongside being an experienced Ofsted Inspector.  Having been instrumental in the creation of the original St George’s Academy in 2013, Nicky also led the creation of this multi-academy trust and is the Chair of Trustees.

With decades of experience in education which included teaching to a senior level in the West Midlands, Jill worked for the Education Department of the local authority in various roles. Jill became a Principal Adviser for Learning and Achievement across all phases, managing large teams of advisers and having strategic responsibility for wide ranging government initiatives. As Vice-Chair of the former St George’s Academy, Jill actively supported the creation of this Academy Trust and is currently Vice-Chair whilst also holding the post of Chair of Governors at a local level.

As the Leader of Teaching and Learning at Aston Manor Academy, Abbas joined this Academy Trust at its inception in November 2018. At his local school he holds the responsibility for NQTs, new staff and CPD across that trust. For Titan Education Trust, Abbas brings his knowledge and experience of pastoral care and curriculum related matters to his role as a Trustee and a local Governor.

Sharon is a Licensed Assessor for Governance with decades of governance knowledge and experience.
